Amy Slaton of ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Arrested at Tennessee Zoo for Drug Possession and Child Endangerment
Reality TV star Amy Slaton, best known for her role in TLC’s hit show 1000-Lb. Sisters, was recently arrested at the Tennessee Safari Park on charges related to drug possession and child endangerment. The incident occurred on Monday, Sept. 2, when the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a guest allegedly being bitten by a camel at the zoo.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies were reportedly struck by suspicious odors coming from a vehicle belonging to Amy Slaton and Brian Scott Lovvorn. According to a post by the Sheriff’s Department on Facebook, both Slaton and Lovvorn were arrested on charges of illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule IV substances, along with two counts of child endangerment.
The pair were taken into custody and booked into the Crockett County Jail. However, authorities have not disclosed the identity of the person bitten by the camel or provided additional details about any injuries related to the incident.
It’s important to note that these charges are currently allegations, and both Amy Slaton and Brian Scott Lovvorn are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
