The unveiled lineup of complimentary PlayStation Plus free games for February 2024 has been disclosed. Subscribers across Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers of Sony’s PlayStation Plus service have the opportunity to acquire three free games each month for their digital collections. February adheres to this tradition.
In contrast to the rotating games within the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries, the free PS Plus games of the month are yours to keep perpetually, contingent upon continuous subscription. While these games usually feature older titles, there are sporadic instances where brand-new, day-one releases are also included.
In the February 2024 offering, the spotlight falls on the day-one debut, Foamstars, accompanied by Rollerdrome and Steelrising. Foamstars and Rollerdrome offer native versions for both PS4 and PS5, but PS Plus subscribers require a PS5 to access Steelrising through their subscription. Descriptions of the games reveal Foamstars as a 4v4 online party shooter from Square Enix, drawing comparisons to Nintendo’s Splatoon franchise. Rollerdrome combines shooting action with skating traversal, while Steelrising is categorized as a Soulslike action-RPG.

As of the current writing, Foamstars remains untested, and its reception among fans is eagerly anticipated. February 2024 holds additional excitement for PS Plus subscribers. As an additional bonus, they can claim the Icons Pack for Fall Guys, featuring costumes inspired by popular PlayStation characters from the Horizon and Ratchet & Clank franchises. This extra will also be available starting February 6.
