Post Malone Teases Collaboration with Morgan Wallen: Is a Country Album on the Horizon?

In November of last year, the 2023 CMA Awards saw an unexpected collaboration between Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and Hardy. Little did anyone know, this performance hinted at something bigger to come.

On Wednesday evening, March 20, Post Malone dropped a teaser on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of an unreleased single featuring Wallen. Captioning the video with “Let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen 😂,” Malone is seen enjoying a Bud Light, enthusiastically singing along. Wallen joined in the excitement, commenting, “I had some help getting to the point of posting it at 4 am 😂 this song is one of my favs in a long time. Proud to be on it w u bub!!”

This teaser is just one of many recent hints pointing towards a potential Post Malone country album. Earlier this week, Malone shared photos of a studio session with Luke Combs, following up on a previous unreleased snippet featuring Combs. Last week, he teased another snippet of a country-infused ballad with the caption, “missin you like this 💙,” presumed to be the song’s title.

During a Twitch livestream last November, Malone assured fans, “Country record is coming. I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville, and it’s so f*cking sick, but it’s not out,” as reported by American Songwriter.

While awaiting the country album, Posty fans can anticipate his feature on “Fortnight,” the opening track of Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, scheduled for release on April 19th.
