Cast Members Returning for Ted Lasso Season 4
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Television has renewed contracts with original British cast members Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins). These actors, who were part of the United Kingdom acting union Equity, are expected to return if “Ted Lasso” Season 4 goes into production.
However, the studio still needs to finalize new agreements with the actors represented by SAG-AFTRA in the United States. This includes key cast members like Jason Sudeikis, who portrays the title character Ted Lasso, and Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard. Both Sudeikis and Hunt were also co-creators, executive producers, and stars of the show, along with Juno Temple, who played Keeley Jones.

He mentioned that Sudeikis faces significant personal challenges while filming the series, as it primarily follows an English soccer team and requires extended periods away from his family in London.
Lawrence noted, “Not only is he the star, he’s the head writer, and he’s also the guy whose life just has to be completely overhauled and moved to a foreign country with young children.” This level of commitment, according to Lawrence, is a “big deal.”

In a January interview with PEOPLE, Sudeikis seemed hopeful when discussing the possibility of spinoffs or additional seasons of the beloved series. He reflected on the first three seasons, saying, “I feel three seasons of the show were just made with and attempted to personify and portray the spirit of hope, and so I offer those three seasons as an example.”
Before the third season premiered in 2023, Sudeikis hinted in a Deadline interview that the season would mark “the end of this story we wanted to tell.” However, he left the door open for future stories, stating that the show has “set the table for all sorts of folks … to get to watch the further telling of these stories.”
