Jack Doherty Crashes McLaren During Live Stream, Leaving Fans in Shock

YouTuber and Kick streamer Jack Doherty found himself in a dangerous situation on Saturday morning when he crashed his $200,000 McLaren 2024 during a live stream, all while distracted by his phone in the middle of a rainstorm. The dramatic moment unfolded in front of 185,000 viewers, leaving fans shocked as Doherty lost control of the supercar and skidded across the wet road before slamming into a security barrier.
The crash occurred as Doherty was live-streaming on Kick, where viewers witnessed the McLaren hydroplane and veer across the lane before crashing. Despite the terrifying accident, the stream continued to roll, capturing every second of the chaos.

Doherty’s Kick account was swiftly suspended following the incident for violating the platform’s safety guidelines. Kick’s 13th rule under “Lawfulness” stresses the importance of following local laws and practicing safe behavior at all times. Distracted driving, particularly in such risky conditions, clearly breached those standards. Kick has yet to comment on the ban.
Doherty, who had purchased the McLaren for a reported $202,850 in late 2023, had customized the vehicle with a neon paintball splatter wrap and a custom exhaust system. Unfortunately, the sleek ride was completely totaled in the accident.

In the immediate aftermath, Doherty’s cameraman, Michael, was seen dazed and bleeding from his head, which Doherty filmed for the live audience. Both Doherty and Michael were taken to the hospital for further evaluation, with Michael needing stitches for his injuries.
This incident serves as a harsh reminder of the risks of distracted driving, particularly in high-performance vehicles like the McLaren. Despite the glamorous lifestyle, dangerous decisions can have serious consequences—and this time, it happened live.
