‘House of the Dragon’: Season 2 Cast, Teaser Trailer & Release Date Revealed 2023

HBO has unveiled a thrilling trailer for the upcoming second season of the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel series ‘House of the Dragon’, rekindling excitement among fans.
The new season teases intensified dragon warfare between the forces led by Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower. Expect epic clashes, with dragons taking centre stage in the conflict. The trailer offers glimpses of Daemon Targaryen gearing up in formidable armour, knights riding into battle, soldiers engulfed in flames, and the main cast astride their dragons, ready for war.


Rhaenyra’s sobering words echo, ‘There is no war more detested by the gods than one among kin,’ countered by her aunt Rhaenys Targaryen’s grim reminder, ‘And no war more ferocious than a conflict between dragons.’
The stellar cast of ‘House of the Dragon’ returns alongside fresh faces. Notable newcomers include Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.

Martin’s ‘Fire & Blood,’ ‘House of the Dragon’ unfolds about 200 years before ‘Game of Thrones,’ delving into the zenith of the Targaryen dynasty. Season 1 delved into the intricate political dynamics, tracing Princess Rhaenyra’s ascent to the chosen heir of King Viserys I and subsequent power struggles alongside her marriage to her uncle, Daemon.


The inaugural season captivated audiences, drawing nearly 10 million viewers for its debut, marking HBO’s most-watched series premiere. Its success prompted an immediate renewal.
